VRI*ety™ Exchange
- To be eligible for exchange you must be an owner/member at a VRI-managed resort or Multi Resort Ownership Plan (MROP).
- Before you can exchange you must first deposit your fixed week or confirmed reservation at a VRI resort or club. Deposits may be made up to 2 years in advance, but no later than 28 days in advance of the reservation date for Continental U.S. destinations and 49 days in advance for International and Hawaii resorts.
- A credit card is required at the time of request, but not charged until the request is filled.
- Deposited weeks expire two years after the start date of the reservation.
- Exchanges are arranged on a space available basis and VRI cannot guarantee fulfillment of specific week, resort, unit size or unit number requests.
- Exchange fees are assessed on a per week basis once VRI has completed an acceptable exchange. All exchanges are final, non-changeable and non-refundable.
- Unit upgrades may be requested at any time for a fee and based on availability. Fees depend on upgrade levels, lead times and availability. Season upgrades may only be requested 28 days in advance for Continental U.S. destinations and 49 days in advance for International and Hawaii resorts.
- Split week reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance of travel. You can split your week into a three and a four night stay (only one can include a weekend). A one time $59 service fee is required when the first reservation is confirmed.
- Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. All effort was made to compile accurate information. VRI assumes no responsibility for errors or omission of data herein.
- All Hot Deals reservations are non-changeable and non-refundable. Travel protection available.
- The 25% discount is only applicable for reservations made within 60 days of travel, and is not combinable with other offers or program benefits.
- A written confirmation will be sent to you along with significant resort information. You are responsible for printing your confirmation for Hot Deals reservations made online. This confirmation must be presented upon arrival at the resort.
- If you do not contact VRI or your confirmed resort at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date to advise of a late arrival or no-show, your reservation may be canceled 24 hours after your scheduled arrival. You will not be relieved of any fees as a result of your failure to check-in or notify the resort by this deadline.
- You are responsible for the payment of any expenses incurred, e.g., additional fees for the use of certain amenities and facilities, as well as damages caused by you or your guests while staying in your unit, and for the replacement of any missing items. These fees are collected at the resort. Guests are also responsible for any such personal charges, damage deposits, transient occupancy taxes, phone calls, etc.
- VRI’s liability for any loss or damage arising out of the use of the VRI program is limited to the fees paid by you. VRI assumes no liability for acts of God or other unforeseen events which may limit its ability to provide any of the programs described herein.
